Berry Hall

This is Berry Hall, where our Office of Admission is located.

If you come for an official campus visit, this is where we’ll meet you and leave for the walking tour. It’s also where you can go if you have any questions or need help during the admissions process.

This building, acquired by Chatham in the 1960’s, is named after Berry Hall I, the first structure Pennsylvania Female College purchased in 1870. Berry Hall I contained dorm rooms, a library, labratory facilities, and a dining room, and was once home to Chatham alum and environmental rights activist Rachel Carson.
