The Edward Danforth Eddy Theatre, named after a former acclaimed president of Chatham, is a tiered auditorium with a large stage and full audio-visual equipment that hosts 285 seats. It’s often used for lectures, presentations, and theatre productions.

Chatham offers many opportunities for students to perform on campus, including the Drama Club, Vagina Monologues, the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and musicals like Chicago.

Eddy has also hosted speakers such as Alice Walker, acclaimed author of The Color Purple, master illusionist, Elliot Zimet, and former congresswoman Marjorie Margolies Mezvinsky.
